New burner installation for Duyvis

Duyvis has a long history. In 1806, Teewis Duyvis produced animal feed with his oil mill. Later, sauces and oils were added. In 1961, the Duyvis family started selling peanuts and nuts. Savory snacks and dips followed seven years later. This marked the beginning of Duyvis as we know it today.

Compliance with emission requirements

In 2016, Duyvis decided to replace the existing burner installation. This was necessary due to the emission requirement effective from January 1, 2017: 70 mg/m³ at 3% O₂. Under the new Activities Decree, existing installations must also comply with this requirement.
