Regular maintenance is often required to comply with legislation and manufacturer specifications, and to maintain the operational reliability and warranty of the installation. A gas burner operates under high loads and varying conditions. Therefore, periodic maintenance is essential for safe and stable operation.
By performing annual maintenance, we detect contamination, wear, and minor deviations before they cause malfunctions. Where necessary, we repair these immediately. This extends the lifespan of the installation and prevents unnecessary downtime.
Inspection, measurement, and adjustment
During a maintenance service, we fully inspect the gas burner and readjust it for efficient and trouble-free operation. We begin with a visual inspection of the burner, the gas and air supply, the ignition system, and the combustion chamber.
Next, we conduct a firing test to assess the burner pattern, flame stability, and emission values. We also check all safety devices and controls for correct operation. This includes flame protection, maximum pressure and temperature, gas pressure safety, and switching functions. Any deviations are corrected immediately.
Finally, we accurately calibrate the burner. We balance the gas-air mixture so that the unit operates with the correct CO₂ percentage and the highest efficiency within the applicable standards.
A well-adjusted burner consumes less energy, operates more reliably, and prevents unnecessary emissions and malfunctions.
