Energy-efficient, innovative, and reliable: burner technology from Zantingh

Zantingh builds, supplies, and maintains burner installations for greenhouse horticulture, industry, and utilities. We have been doing this for 90 years. Since the introduction of natural gas in the Netherlands, we have been developing and producing gas burners under our own name. This experience is reflected in the way we select, build, calibrate, and maintain burners.

Our burners are applied to furnace, fire-tube, heating, and steam boilers with capacities up to approximately 15 MW. They operate in greenhouse horticulture companies, industrial installations, hospitals, larger buildings, and district heating projects. In these environments, heat must be available whenever the process demands it.

Features of Zantingh burners

  • Low-NOx combustion technology according to European and Dutch requirements, including EN 676 NOx class 3
  • Modulating capacity and fuel/air control, tailored to the heat demand
  • CE-certified according to the Gas Appliances Regulation
  • Additional certifications possible for export countries
  • Complete delivery including gas train, combustion air fan, control panel, and regulation equipment
  • Combustion air fan with frequency control
  • Siemens LMV burner management system
  • Touchscreen operation possible, depending on the version
  • Online communication module possible for remote management
  • External control via climate computer or building management system possible
  • Expandable with options for customer and project specifications
  • Can be made suitable for various fuels and multiple fuel curves

A burner installation tailored to your situation

No installation is the same. That is why we look at the boiler, the required capacity, the flue gas resistance, the available gas pressure, and the control system for each project. The application within your company also plays a role.

Based on these factors, we determine which burner is suitable and how the installation will be configured. This results in a burner installation that aligns with the process and continues to run stably under your specific working conditions.

Complete installations with modern control technology

A Zantingh burner installation is delivered complete with gas train, combustion air fan, control panel, and regulation equipment. The burners are equipped as standard with Low-NOx combustion technology and comply with current European and Dutch requirements, including EN 676 NOx class 3. The installations are CE-certified according to the Gas Appliances Regulation. Additional certifications can be provided for export projects.

We tailor the control system to the heat demand of the installation. Our burners operate with modulating capacity and fuel/air control, ensuring the burner responds accurately to changes in the process. The combustion air fan is equipped as standard with frequency control. This reduces electricity consumption and limits noise levels.

We use Siemens LMV burner management systems for burner control. Depending on the version, the installation can be expanded with touchscreen operation and online management via PC, tablet, or smartphone. Integration with a climate computer or building management system is possible as standard.

Suitable for various fuels

In addition to natural gas, other fuels are playing an increasingly important role. Depending on the version, our burners can be made suitable for biogas, biomethane, syngas, or hydrogen. A dual-fuel burner configuration with light fuel oil is also possible for continuous or emergency operation.

Not every fuel fits an existing installation without modifications. Therefore, we assess per project what is technically possible, which requirements apply, and how the burner can function safely and stably.

Service and maintenance by our own technicians

Our work does not stop after delivery. We combine engineering, production, service, and maintenance under one roof. As a result, our technicians know the installations and understand how they function in practice.

We carry out repairs, inspections, calibrations, and maintenance so that the burner installation continues to do what is necessary: providing heat whenever your process requires it.
