RKB burners with separate control cabinet

The RKB series with separate control cabinet is intended for larger boiler capacities and installations where more flexibility is required. The series is available from RKB 2.5 up to RKB 12.0 and is suitable for boiler capacities from approximately 2.9 to 15 MW.

The burner is supplied with a separate control panel. Larger burners are equipped as standard with the Siemens LMV5x burner management system. This integrates the fuel/air ratio, burner load, burner start procedure, gas leak detection, and flame monitoring. This controller is optionally available on all Zantingh burners with a separate control cabinet.

Control and operation

For larger burners, the control panel features a full-colour touchscreen in addition to the LMV user interface as standard. This displays a graphical representation of the boiler and burner and allows you to read the current status and process information.

The RKB series is supplied as standard with a combustion air fan with frequency converter in a duoblock configuration, a complete gas train, and a Low-NOx combustion system for natural gas. We match the burner to the boiler, the flue gas resistance, the available gas pressure, and the operating conditions.

Fuel and application

Depending on the application, the burner can be prepared for various types of gas. A dual-fuel version for light fuel oil is also possible, for example for emergency operation or situations where a second fuel is required. For biogas, biomethane, syngas, or hydrogen, we assess technical and safety feasibility in advance.

The RKB burner is suitable for installations where continuity is paramount. Therefore, we do not only look at capacity, but also at service, accessibility, parts, control, and maintenance.
