Project

New construction for bell pepper grower Tas Luttelgeest

Expansion to 25 hectares

The brothers John and Onno Tas grow red and yellow bell peppers at two locations: 8 hectares in Zevenhuizen and, until recently, 16 hectares in Luttelgeest. In late July, the expansion of the location in Luttelgeest began. As a result, the company is expanding there to 25 hectares.

Bell pepper cultivation as a specialty

Tas Paprika is a family business. In 1963, Tas senior started growing cucumbers in Berkel en Rodenrijs. In 1990, he switched to bell peppers. About twenty years ago, John and Onno took over the business.

Due to the growing demand for bell peppers, the company is expanding again. For this expansion as well, Tas Paprika is choosing a gas burner from us. The heating installation is being installed by Voshol Warmte Elektrotechniek from Bleiswijk.
