CO detector

During CO₂ dosing in the greenhouse, small amounts of carbon monoxide (CO) can be released. CO is harmful to humans and crops. Therefore, reliable detection is essential. The Zantingh CO detector monitors flue gases continuously and reacts immediately if the CO concentration rises.

The detector automatically activates alarm and fault functions as soon as limit values are exceeded. Simultaneously, the system can switch to a safe purging mode, ensuring CO₂ dosing is interrupted or adjusted before the situation escalates. This maintains the safety of the crop, personnel, and installation.

Our CO detectors are used in CO₂ systems including boilers and CHP plants. Especially in installations with multiple sources, fast detection is vital to recognize deviations immediately and control the system automatically.
